Full Time  Bookkeeper/Office Manager–


SprinklerMan, an established (in business over 40 years) and growing irrigation company, located in Rochester , is seeking candidates for a Full Time Bookkeeper/Office Manager position.
We are looking for a long-term team player.
Responsibilities:
 Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly accounting functions using QuickBooks Pro software.

 A/P - Processing vendor invoices, payment, and performing reconciliations.
 Verifying accuracy of A/P to quotes and purchase orders.
 Setting up new vendors in accounting and scheduling system.
 Paying subcontractors; filing 1099’s.
 Complete prevailing wage reports for specific projects as required under state laws and Davis Bacon Act.
 Responsible for Payroll, payroll taxes and reporting, W2’s.

 Bank account and Company Credit Card maintenance and reconciliation.
Monthly reconciliations and adjusting entries to the financial reports for CPA’s.
 Maintaining accurate files, figures and data on projects.
Various administrative functions and projects using MS Word and Excel.
Assist with additional projects by other team members.

Assist with job scheduling

Making and receiving phone calls

 



Job Requirements:

 2+ years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
 MUST be an experienced user of QuickBooks Pro.
 Understanding of accounting principles.
 Strong attention to details, good math and writing skills.
 Use of MS Office products, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook.
 Organized and able to work independently while maintaining a team player attitude.
 Comply with attendance policy and maintain regular and predictable attendance.
 Must be reliable and trustworthy.
 No criminal history.
 Some construction background would be helpful.
